Stalked: Viktorija Agne, Emerging Jewellery Designer
27 March 2015
Viktorija Agne recently graduated
from BA Fashion Jewellery and currently is studying MA Fashion Artefacts at London
College of Fashion. Her graduation collection had two major inspirations; the movie “Transformers” and the automotive industry, together with
personal interpretations and influence of 3D printing climaxes in a futuristic
and captivating collection of accessories. Although this collection is very different to what she loves about jewellery, her refined delicate designs shown in the earrings which she is wearing here, are perhaps what we will be seeing from her next collection, as she reins her conceptual work back in and refines it. Watch this space in a big way!
What do you love about
being a designer and how did you get into fashion?
I love the fact that I have the ability to design and make something that is unique. I have always been drawn to fashion ever since I was a little girl. After I graduated from high school I decided that it was the time to make fashion huge
part of my life.
Stalked: A Killer Jacket
25 March 2015
I stalked this little lady during London Fashion week this year, she works for an online etailer and is also a blogger. She caught my eye with her fabulous neoprene biker jacket, neon pink lips and tortoiseshell glasses.
Tre adorable!
Stalked: Kirsten Goss, Jewellery Designer
23 March 2015
More than likely you have already heard of this not so 'emerging' talent before today. Kirsten Goss is an established jewellery designer with stores internationally in locations such as London and South Africa. Since launching in London in 2002, Kirsten Goss has poured her passion for unique design and unparalleled craftsmanship into every piece of jewellery she has created. I caught up with her (wearing a fab Temperley London number) for a coffee and chat about jewellery and her career.
What do you love about being a jewellery designer and how did you get into fashion?
I think the fact you can say so much with so little appeals to me. Mini works of art forming little punctuation marks takes an outfit and fashion to a new level. An earring can change a whole look - especially where in the ear its worn. I managed to get a job at erickson beamon years ago - my first job making a whole bunch of jewellery for Julien Macdonalds London fashion week show in 98/99 - first month in london in the front row with Anna Wintour with a Alek Wek et al strolling down the ramp - I was sold! It’s been non-stop since then.

Stalked: Johnny Wang, Emerging Designer, BCollide
20 March 2015
Johnny Wang is the founder and designer of the very exciting emerging fashion brand, by is pushing the boundaries of how we look at everyday garments. After graduating in 2012, he started the brand BCollide, his latest collection; OCD TEST OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) is
a study of different obsessive and compulsive reactions to an often ignored
phenomenon that is 'mis-alignment'.
I caught up with him about his brand and his love this industry.
What do you love about being a designer and
how did you get into fashion?
I’m a designer as well as an entrepreneur, as
I’m designing for the label, and also running the business. I love pushing my
limits and exhausting resources to build and grow the collection and the
business. I studied media and communications before I got into the fashion.
Almost all my friends tried to convince me to become a designer. There was a
point when I was on a very reputable TV Production programme and took a leap of
faith, and switched to fashion design.
Stalked: Camilla Elphick, Shoe Designer
16 March 2015
Camilla Elphick is one of those shining stars who created a whirlwind of excitement with her debut collection last season, there is no doubt that we have the next big thing in the midst. Her graduate shoe collection, “So Bad,
It’s Good”, gained widespread press coverage with the "Pez" shoe. She
then launched her own shoe brand, with shoes hand-made in Italy starting with
her collection for SS15, "You got the Luck". This season the theme of
the AW15 collection is the "Puuurfect Storm" which features a range
of feminine mid heel and high heel pumps, modern flats and boots all with a
playful twist and the feature of any outfit.
I caught up with her after London Fashion Week, in which she exhibited this simply divine collection.
How did you get to
where you are now?
When I left school I moved to New York to study
at Parsons, The New School for Design. With a serious passion for shoes I then
studied footwear design at Cordwainer at the London College of Fashion. During
my studies I interned and worked for shoe designers including Nicholas
Kirkwood, Sophia Webster, Donna Karan, Paul Andrew and Charlotte Olympia. After
showing my graduate collection I was encouraged to start up the Camilla Elphick
shoe brand.
Stalked: Aaron Lesta - Candal, Model and Semi Professional Footballer
13 March 2015
Now as my regular readers will know i'm a huge fan of mens tailoring and anything bespoke or vaguely heritage, so Aaron's styling jumped out at me as soon as I trotted into Somerset House..
This particular stalk was a very interesting one though, not only does he have a fab sense of style, he is also a model AND semi professional footballer!! Not something you find often during London Fashion Week!
What do you do and
what do you love about your job?
So I am a model for first model management, a semi professional footballer and a marketer and advertiser. Although I've only been modelling coming up to four weeks, one of my favourite shows has to be Ada Nik !

LFW STALK: A Stylish Pair
11 March 2015
Standing outside Somerset House chatting to a fellow street style photographer for The LFW Daily, he saw a couple of my previous stalks coming round the corner and his only words were before he dashed off to snap them; 'these two come as a pair' !!!! Yes they do!
Both very on trend, but not for SS15, for a whole season ahead even before the first of the 1970s bohemian trends came down the runway at Burberry Prorsum, these guys were on it already. One, a fashion designer and the other a journalist, there's no surprising they looked wonderful.
These two were definitely two of my favourites!
Stalked: Cansu Yazici, Editor at L'Officiel Turkiye
9 March 2015
I stalked Cansu at London Fashion Week recently, she was looking fantastic in a simple shearling esk coat, denim shirt and leathers. No surprising she is the editor of L'Officiel Turkiye and the blogger behind Advocate's Closet (FYI, personal style to die for!!!)! I caught up with her on her job, style and what she loves about LFW!
What do you do and
what do you love about your job?
I am an editor at
L'Officiel Turkiye, blogger at Advocate's Closet and an ex-lawyer. I know it
sounds cliché but fashion has always been a great passion of mine. Before going
into fashion professionally, I was a corporate lawyer at one of the highest
ranked law firms in Istanbul and as I've always been a creative person,
practicing law was killing all my energy. After I made the bold move of going
from law to fashion professionally, working does not feel like an obligatory
pain that we have to suffer from every other day anymore, which is the best
side of my job:) Also, I should mention the people! In fashion, you are
surrounded by creative, like-minded people and every other interaction helps
you expend your vision and come up with new ideas.
LFW: AW15 Manuel Facchini Presentation
6 March 2015
Please may I introduce you to Manuel Facchini, an Italian designer who graduated from London’s prestigious Central
Saint Martins and became the creative director for Byblos in 2006; in which he turned this long-established Italian ready-to-wear brand into a competitive on the international market.
Recently he has started on a new adventure.. his own brand!
LFW AW15 STYLE STALKING
4 March 2015
Last week London buzzed with an air of style and excitement as the fashion pack piled into the city to view the latest AW15 collections and with that came the usual fabulously dressed individuals that all of us street style photographers love!
Here's a little recap of some of my favourite snaps..
LFW: Gyunel AW15 Show
3 March 2015
Gyunel is no doubt one of my favourite shows during London Fashion Week. An emerging designer all the way from Azerbaijan, sets her latest collection under the grand ceilings of Bloomsbury Ballrooms, the perfect location for this mystical show!
February Treat: Sexy Fitness Gear!
1 March 2015
Last month I told you all about my new years resolution which is to spend more on one or two items for my wardrobe that will really benefit me, rather than something which is on trend and from the high-street that will keep my style attention for all of 2 months!! So I'm doing a year long blog feature on what I'm spending my monthly pay cheque on each month....
This month's payday treat has to be something to keep me on the road for my other new years resolution, 'To Get In Shape' !! I've hit that February fitness brick wall, therefore, to get me motivated again I'm buying a new gym and yoga outfit from my favourite brand!!!
February: A Lululemon Outift
