If you haven't heard of the British store Peter Werth, then read on, because it's a brand that not only has very cool menswear designs but also has a very interesting story behind it.
Started in Islington, North London in 1975 Peter
Werth has been part of the British menswear landscape for almost 40 years. Known for it's knitwear amongst other items, it's latest collection references the
trend-setting Italian knitwear brands making a name for themselves in London
during the Swinging Sixties (the ones appropriated by the early Mods), as well
long-sleeved knitted polo shirts worn by early Peter Werth advocates, the Perry
Boys.
I caught up with Sonny, who loves working for the brand due to it's fantastic history with the Perry Boys and beautifully crafted clothing and footwear.
What do you do and why do you love your job?
Store manager at Peter Werth. I love my job as we have a great team at
the store and we also work closely with the design team - who are based not too
far from the area.
In your opinion what's the best part of LC:M?
The wide array of people’s personal style and its ability to attract people from all over.

Where do you shop and where do you eat?
Mainly around Seven Dials. Magma on Earlham St have a good selection of books as does Fopp for music! I’m also a fan of the street food on Earlham St and at Monmouth Coffee.
