Stalked: Tessa Packard, Jewellery Designer.
29 September 2014
When I stumbled across Tessa's jewellery a while back I couldn't help but do a double take at a certain collection called the Predator. A collection inspired by those dreaded evil bugs that attack us all while we're happily drinking our Pimms in the summer, yes the wasp!! I caught up with Tessa to talk jewellery and her love affair with fashion.
What do you do and
what do you love about your work?
I am a London-based fine jewellery designer specialising in bi-annual collections and bespoke commissions. Running a jewellery brand perfectly compliments my character: half of me is unstoppably creative while the other half of me is a workaholic and very much business minded. I also relish the opportunities and challenges that being an entrepreneur bring. Any goal is achievable but it requires patience and I prefer to work with the long-term in mind rather than strive for immediate gratification.

Stalked: Yanin, Fashion Blogger and YouTuber. Pretty Sickly
27 September 2014
After the Gyunel show I spotted this lovely lady and looking fabulous, combining the LBD (with a twist), with a divine leather jacket and killer clutch. Yanin is a Youtuber - a realm I haven't touched yet, I think I'll leave it to the experts though!!
What do you do and why
do you love your job?
I'm a fashion blogger & Youtuber. I love it
because it was a hobby of mine since I was in secondary school and I'm forever
grateful I could turn it into a full time career.
An Interview With Gyunel
24 September 2014
The show opened with supermodel Yasmin Le Bon, quickly followed by her daughter Amber Le Bon, this was one hell of a start to what was to be a very good show! From all the shows I saw this season, Gyunel still has to be one of my favourites.
I caught up with this very talented Azerbaijan born designer after the show to quiz her on her latest collection and inspirations.
What do you do and
what do you love about your job?
As Creative Director I
make sure I oversee everything and as a restless person myself, this being
hectic and demanding is something I enjoy. Another thing I love about what I do
is watching my creative visions come to life.
Stalked at LFW: Kelly, Reporter for SUITCASE Magazine
22 September 2014
The lovely Kelly I met during LFW at Somerset House looking rather fab!! Kelly is a fashion journalism degree student, writer,
reporter and representative for SUITCASE Magazine. There's nothing I love more than a good old check on check outfit and Kelly wears this one so well!
What do you do and why
do you love your job?
I am currently studying my third year of fashion
journalism and earlier this year was lucky enough to secure a month placement
with travel and fashion magazine SUITCASE. Since then I have been working
closely with the team and the most inspirational youngest founding
editor-in-chief in the world, Serena Guen. I have been lucky enough to manage
some marketing and events for the publication including a pop-up magazine stall
we installed in Old Street station earlier last month. As well as being a
quarterly publication online and in-print SUITCASE curates various pop-up shops
and events; the most recent being the Summer SUITCASE store located inside the
Vinyl Factory in South Kensington, we have another in the pipeline for Winter
so watch this space!

something I've always been captivated by so I get to play out those stories
everyday and watch as they evolve season after season.
London Fashion Week: Le Exhibition
16 September 2014
The exhibition at London Fashion Week is held inside Somerset House and exclusively for press and buyers. I always love this part of LFW because it's my chance to scout for new stalking subjects, this is also where I found Daisy Knights, the very cool instababe and jewellery designer. She is the designer behind the awesome (with a capital A), shoe dimes, a series of feathers and other fabulous trinkets especially for your trainers.
Raw Stalking: SS15 LFW Day One. Somerset House.

Stalked: Rachel Boston, Jewellery Designer at London Fashion Week
8 September 2014
I've had rather of a jewellery crush on this little lady ever since she released her collection 'The Protector', which are a series of beetles and scorpions. It was hard to resist a little mid month purchase of the beautifully delicate but fierce 'Stag Ring', with rock 'n' roll jewellery like this, I'm like a child in a sweet shop!
Rachel Boston, a London born and based jewellery designer and maker, graduated in Jewellery Design from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design. Her signature aesthetic of pure and strong forms find inspiration from unconventional sources: looking to nature, contemporary culture and high fashion to celebrate both the beautiful and the damned.

I caught up with this lovely lady as she prepares for London Fashion Week and her to-die-for pooch Betty, who I think you'll all agree slightly stole the show!!!

What made you
decide you wanted to be a jewellery designer? And what do you love about
your job?
I was very lucky that
I knew what I wanted to do very early on. During Design & Technology
classes at school I always based my projects on jewellery and I made a lot of
really horrible crafty pieces at home during the holidays and I knew that I
loved working with my hands and especially working with metal. I love how
flexible my job is, I’m never just stuck doing one task. One day I’m making a
bespoke engagement ring the next day I’m shooting a lookbook for my new
collection. It’s such a varied job and because of that I have to learn so much
every day which I find challenging and therefore hugely satisfying.
