Frieze 2013 Recap

21 October 2013

It's that time of year again for that very large white tent to be erected in the middle of Regents Park, for the one of the worlds leading and most prestigious art fairs, Frieze!

I popped along on the Wednesday VIP preview for a sneaky peep and for a spot of style stalking amongst the art worlds coolest kids!

A spot of a real stalking here, this art collector was dressed head to toe in Burberry Prorsum!

Frieze London occurs once a year and attracts the worlds art elite to view the finest example of contemporary artwork by the top 150 galleries in the world, artist showing include Jeff Koons, Damian Hurst and Tracey Emin.

As the mega rich fly in to snap up pieces such as the latest Jeff Koons, whose artwork goes for anything between 5 million and 15 million (Koons' latest pieces below) other popular artwork is often sold before the show even opens. All London galleries who are not showing at Frieze also hold big private views and exhibitions around this week to attract the big art boys in to buy.

Frieze has finished now but it's well worth looking out for it next year, it opened to the public on Thursday onwards. I personally love this fair as you can make a real day out of, with fashionable restaurants such as Pizza Pilgrims and champagne bars galore there is plenty to keep you entertained.

This week I will be posting all my stalkings from the fair, and the usual mini glimpses into the lives of the fashionable kids that attend this fair.
