Recently I’ve been determined to pack in as
many fabulous things in as possible to these summer weekends as we all know
it’s only a matter of time before we are pulling out our willies and trench
coats for the endless rain to come!
In fear this was the last weekend of
beautiful weather we escaped from London and went for lunch on a country green,
watching village cricket while locals walked their dogs and children rode their
ponies around, seriously you couldn’t get more English ‘Midsummer Murders’ –esk
even if you tried!!! (For all of you who haven’t watched Midsummer Murders,
it’s an English TV drama, set in the most over the top picturesque English
country village, with a population of probably only 1000, hundreds of murders
happen constantly!)
Now although we had the most amazing pub
lunch, I’m not going to talk about the food or show you the pictures of what we
guzzled down, because I have good news – Gastro StreetStalker my food blog is
re-launching!!! This time though under new management! The writer will remain
anonymous but he has been featured many times on this blog, yes he is known as
La Grande Hand and will now be reviewing some of his favourite foody hangouts
across London, LA, and many more places of Gastro wonderful-ness! So watch this
space!
There are 3 things in life I love.. One is fashion,
Two food, and number Three has to be cars.. so driving around in this little
beauty really did perfect a truly awesome day.
Now enough about food and cars and onto the most important part..
fashion!-For our little countryside trip, I simply had to wear one of my
favourite looks, and that’s 'all white'! Skinny white jeans and a simply
white silk tee you cant really go wrong – just remember to add a pop of colour
with something like a statement necklace.
Ring by LeiVanKash, if you haven't already you have to check her out! Or just read about her here.
I'm Wearing: Tee: My Own. Jeans; Gap, Loafers: Burberry, Necklace; East.
The silk tee I actually made myself but if
you’re keen on tracking this type of t-shirt down check out a London designer
called Marina London, she’s fab! I interviewed her a while back when I started
this blog about her first collection check it out here.
