Dach & Sons

30 November 2012

I have very few vices in life including sweets or crisps, in which I can always resist eating the bag with ease! But I do have three vices which I am very bad with - those are sample sales, posh burgers and white chocolate! Two out of three of these are hot stuff at the recently opened Dach & Son in Hampstead.

Simply Irresistible Stalking

27 November 2012

Please meet Jenna, an art student from Central St Martins, stalked outside the Saatchi Gallery!

I simply adored her bold dress sense to mix strips, with print gently splitting them up with a pastel waistcoat. I'm sure you agree she is simply stylishly irresistible!!

The Heavenly Heath!

26 November 2012

There's nothing more heavenly than a wintry walk on Hampstead Heath on a Sunday afternoon to blow the cob webs away after a, uh-hum, heavy Saturday night partying! This weekend I snuggled up in a couple of my favourite pieces from my new Autumn wardrobe!

If you haven't yet ventured up to the Heath, it's a must! Jump on the Northern line in a pair of booties you don't mind getting muddy and get ready to escape from the bustle of the city!

I love this time of year, as the fields are dusted in a copper carpet as the autumn leaves fall.  The Heath this year is looking more beautiful than ever with all the trees in beautiful Autumnal colours, which slightly inspired my outfit for today!

I am rather pleased with my latest fashion finds - both animal jumper and leather skirt are from Next's latest collection! Which are a couple of the many things I couldn't resist when I popped in the other day to preview their latest at their Fashion Lockin event!

I have to admit I haven't shopped in Next for a while but after seeing their AW12 collection I couldn't believe how they've totally revamped their designs, making it hard for any style savvy individual to walk away from! A few of my favourite pieces included their tartan skirts which would make Cher from Clueless shriek with excitement, Miu Miu esk print trousers which warrant a return visit for sure and camel coats which word on the style vine is that these bad boys are next season hottest item!!

It takes a lot to impress the me but I have to say, Next have done it with this seasons collection and is definitely worth checking out!

View of London from the top of the Heath!

After a chilly walk we warmed up in a local pub - The Holly Bush, which is one of our favs and is known as the fashionable locals pub!

I'm wearing; Coat; Pinko. Knitwear; Next. Leather skirt; Next. Boots; All Saints. Hat; Jack Wills.

25 November 2012

Happy Sunday Everyone!!

It's been about a century since I last emptied my Insta-Piggy-Bank, so I thought what better day to it than sat relaxed in front of Carry On Camping with a cappuccino in hand and laptop on lap! If you don't follow me on Instagram here's a little glimpse of whats been going on in The Stalkers den for the last 6 weeks!

Firstly if you haven't seen Burberry's latest Brit collection, get you fashionista bottoms straight down to the Covent Garden store - they have the most divine leather jackets in at the moment all inspired by the biker Prorsum collection of SS11!

There is no doubting I'm a total coffee snob! I've well and truly found my dream coffee shop- Foxcroft & Ginger in Soho - it's a must visit place and the nosh is also true food porn!

The awwwwwesome Chanel bag I borrowed for the launch party for Karl Lagerfeld's Little Black Jacket exhibition, if you missed this here's a little review of the night.

New Tee! I'm really very lazy when it comes to going out, I normally just whack on my leather trousers with a tee with the sleeves cut off! This is my new fav from Mercy and Wild which I found here!

The new mini Celine !

Lanvin recently have collaborated with the creme de la creme of Macaroon companies, Laduree to design their beautiful gift boxes! My favourite Macaroon has to be the salt caramel filling!!! Yum Yum Yum!

Recently I discovered the coolest new sunglasses brand Finlay & Co, all glasses are inspired by 1950s designs and are all individually handmade out of wood.

Burberry Stalking on the Tube!

Happy Thanksgiving! English chicks supporting out American baseball caps!

Take a lil guess where these shoes are from!??! Ohhh yes they are the Maison Martin Margiela collection for H&M, a little bit like fashion Marmite, some people loved it, some people hated it! I personally loved it and couldn't help but snapping up a few pieces! I will reveal what I bought soon!!!

Rufflr My Feathers

22 November 2012

Drum roll please...
Recently a certain little Style StreetStalker was asked to collaborate with an awesome new online shopping destination called Rufflr to head up their Street Style section! You may have noticed I have mentioned this site in my weekend guide a couple of weeks ago, well if you didn't here is sneaky peak at a site which is taking the fashion online industry by storm!!

Rufflr is essentially an online wardrobe for keeping track of things you Love, Want or Own.
Rufflr users can -
Discover and compare a limitless array of products
Store fashion ideas, create collections and buy when they are ready
See what friends are buying, ask their advice and share recommendations with them
Be inspired by style icons, trend setters and new looks

Here are some collections that the Rufflr fashionistas put together recently!

As well as it being an easy way to store your fashion finds, they also have a fascinting bi-weekly journal, which was launched in November. Interviews have included Bryan Adams on his new venture into photography, Cleo B with her new range of shoes (see pictured), as well as reviews on the likes of Superga. All in all a very worth while read!

As well as the journal and all the tastey fashion finds your friends will be 'Rufflring', there is also a very cool (if I say it myself) Street Style section. Here you will find street style from London to NYC. The London page is done by the Stalker herself (Meeeeee !) as I mentioned before, and the New York section is headed up by the talented Mikey Kay, a writer for the Huffington Post, who has style snapped the likes of Marc Jacobs and Peony Lim.

This site is a relatively young, therefore, is at it's most exciting stage at the moment!! Check it out here, I'm thoroughly addicted and have already found some awesome unique items on there which I would never neccessarily found before! Warning though once you get sucked into the world of  Rufflr it's very hard to leave!!!

To check it out here is a little invite just for you -----> Invite

Best Things In Life Are Bohemian

19 November 2012

With the party season well and truly in swing I thought I'd refresh my wardrobe a little and introduce my old dresses to a new and very beautiful little number from Alix of Bohemia.

You may remember an interview I did with Alix, the talented designer behind Alix of Bohemia a while back. Finally I gave in to my fashion needs and purchased one of her little beauties! Please may I introduce you to this lil gem!!

Made out of Silk cotton the dress is designed to fall gracefully and makes the perfect piece for smart or casual wear. Every dress is hand made and can be tailored for each individual, which means you have the most incredable fit. Can you tell I'm currently obsessed with her !!!?

Her new collection is being released soon, check her out here.

Olivia Burton's Beauties

15 November 2012

Recently the accessories world has been all of a flutter with the arrival of a new brand!
This brand has married vintage and contemporary harmoniously to create their first collection, therefore, I was thrilled to discover Olivia Burton when recently browsing the jewellery counters at Harvey Nichols!

The duo behind the brand met on their first day at London College of Fashion and have extensive experience in the fashion industry, formally buying for the likes of Selfridges and ASOS. Obsessive about attention to detail, Lesa Bennett and Jemma Fennings created Olivia Burton watches, which are affordable, wearable and bursting of British style.

Of course true to my shopaholic form I bought two designs, because trying to decide between which animal I wanted adorning my wrist was too harder decision for me!! This season certain brands have gone animal mad, eg. Burberry Prorsum, with their Town and Country theme with owls and foxes on all their jumpers and tees. Olivia Burton has hit this trend spot on with her watches!

When the collection launched in Harvey Nichols last month, they soon became one of the hottest watches to have, with their soft genuine leather straps, stainless steel gold (or rose gold) plated case and adorable illustrated animals- how can you not fall in love with these! If you fancy something a little more simple their classic range of vintage inspired watches is gorgeous! To find these lil beauties go here !

SnuggleBug Stalking

13 November 2012

As the temperatures drop and we head closer to Christmas (in the hope of a white one) everyone is going crazy for Knitwear with chunky jumpers, woolly hats and gloves everywhere at the moment!

Some of my favourite pieces are actually on the highstreet - just for giggles this has to be my number one!! Topshops best in my opinion!!! You can find it here.

The Next Lockin

12 November 2012

At last the party season has begun and to kick it off, last Thursday I toddled along to a special evening of bubbles and retail therapy at the Next late night Fashion Lockin! Can you imagine anything more fab than being locked inside a shop with no crowds or queues, sipping champers and shopping- pure retail heaven!!

10 London bloggers including The Elgin Avenue, What Olivia Did and Canned Fashion were invited along to preview the new collection and shop till we literally dropped!

I've noticed over the past couple of years Next's collections are getting better and better, with designs hitting current trends spot on! I adore their animal jumpers, I may have had to make a cheeky purchase of the fox version of this!!

The lovely Monica Beatrice from The Elgin Avenue, looking gorgeous in one of the seasons hottest trends - metallic!! If you are wondering where those divine skinnies are from, check out Paige!

This bad boy I will definitely be going back to get.. I'm obsessed with Christmas knits at the moment.. Bring on Bridget Jones baby!

Lucy Rance from Lulu Trixable and Sheree from Glitz n Grime.

As we sipped champers and nibbled on yummy chocolate cake popsicles, we buzzed around the collection like fashion bees picking 10 pieces which were our favourites.. Here is our Love List! From leather skirts, to Christmas knits and military style coats, there was plenty to 'love' from this collection and extremely dangerous on the credit card! For more piccies of my posing around in my fav outfit and the event check the Next Blog!

For the event I wore: Chunky knit; Burberry and leather trousers; Burberry.
