Last weekend I got a last minute invite to jet off to Switzerland, so like Dick Whittington I promptly grabbed my book, camera, laptop and Gielly Green travel goodies and set off!
From my favourite salon in London I stocked up on a few beauty travel essentials before leaving.. as well as being a super cool salon Gielly Green has their own range of great hair products, this travel set is perfect for weekends away.
On the first evening I stayed in Geneva with friends, they have the most divine house on the lake, where we ate the yummy cheese from the Swiss alps called Raclette. You buy it in a large block and then grill it, scrap it onto your plate and then repeat this process again and again, until you are completely cheesed out! It's utterly divine and you have this with cold meats and warm new potatoes.
My fluffy friend!!
The next day I took a small train up into the mountains and joined friends in their Chalet.. and that's where the party started.
Best leg forward girls!
As you may have seen, not so long ago I went to Chamonix for a quick weekend away, walking in the hills and relaxing, although still in the Alps this weekend swayed more towards walking in the hills and severe partying! Vodka Sauna, delicious food and company, what better way to spend a long weekend!

Stunning pictures! Looks stunning and that cheese looks yummy!
