Burberry Prorsum Menswear AW12 Show

Glimpse of the final walk and the wonderful Christopher!

Last Saturday, in the fashion area of Milan, Burberry hosted their AW12 Menswear Prorsum show. Please welcome the Burberry Gentleman! The collection is extremely strong with the theme of the ‘English countryside with a twist’ running through, this was displayed in highly tailored looks in fabrics such as, Herringbone wools, tweeds, velvets, corduroy and quilted wax cottons. The attention to detail was fantastic with accessories, which are verging on art pieces! The umbrellas are to die for, with the handles of English resin animals heads, such as rams, ducks and hounds all hand painted combined with college stripes, these are the coolest umbrellas I have ever seen! Other non-apparel items included studded leather gloves and iPad/laptop cases, all stunning.

As usual the music fitted in so well with the brand and collection with the return of The Waterboys - The Pan Within and Paris In The Rain , The Jam -Every Little Bit Hurts and finishing with the most amazing acoustic version of Nessun Dorma – Turandot by Jeff Beck – a must download!

Overall … yet another amazing collection from Burberry!
