Sunday's are one of my favourite days of the week, wondering around the chilled Chelsea back streets, in and out of the fashionable Kings Road boutiques, I wish I could do this every day!
This weekend was loving the chilly temperature, ideal for my vintage shearling coat that I found in a shop off Portobello, teamed up with classic denim shorts and of course my trusty Burberry scarf, I was set and very snugly for a spot of Sunday retail therapy!
On Thursday I attended the 2nd Birthday of my favourite online shopping destination, Chic & Seek, an online boutique where you can sell those fantastic items that just aren't for you anymore, and pick up those that are... I am totally addicted!
Items from handbags to fur coats, are all practically brand new, it's amazing, nothing looks worn - I even found the fabulous Emma Watson Burberry Lilac Trench with knotted shoulders still with it's original sales tags on it! As we sipped the most divine champagne cocktails, we wondered around the gorgeous showroom, which is situated in a sleepy mews in Notting Hill. To top the evening off we indulged in quick and fabulous manicure before hitting the Electric for a nightcap!
If you haven't already heard about Burberry's genius social media platform Art Of The Trench, you need to check it out!
Three years ago Burberry commissioned the legendary Scott Schuman from The Sartorialist to go out onto the streets and snap the most beautiful street style photography of people wearing Burberry's iconic trench coat. From then on Burberry followers could upload their own Art Of The Trench pictures as long as they are 'street style' 'outside' and great quality photographs.
I am totally addicted to Art Of The Trench, in my opinion it's the most beautiful social media site there is at the moment, therefore, I was ecstatic when one of my images got selected. This was an image I featured on a previous post called Meow Power of the lovely Vale, wearing her leather trench!
You may remember the awesome studded converse I blogged about in October, well on Saturday in a cafe on Motcomb Street, I had the pleasure of meeting the talented creator, Eva Perez. I love her new black and gold converse that are individually hand studded.
Eva, who previously designed jewellery for Paul & Joe, is now working on her own designs, all are unique and extremely wearable. Working with exotics, such real snake skin, she contrasts this delicate material with heavy silver spikes, her pretty friendship bracelets and chain-mail are adorned with vintage crystals and brooches. Divine!!!
Currently her jewellery and shoes are stocked in a boutique in South Kensington called D&Me, all of her designs are one offs or made to order, which make them even more special. Right that's my Christmas list sorted!

At the weekend I escaped to country for a little R&R and ditched my Burberry London attire for the more country chic look.. maybe more country bumpkin actually! Whenever I breathe in the smell of my good old faithful Barbour Wax jacket.. I know I'm in the country! Although in all honesty I couldn't bring myself to ditch Burberry altogether, as I donned my green 'pak-away' trench for some Sunday chilling with the doglets.
Oh and I'd like to introduce you to Willamina my Jack Russell and two little fellas who will make someone a very nice jumper one day!!
I love the way Jules has styled her Burberry Trench, this just shows how many ways you can wear this amazing item! It's all about attention to detail, notice the button back front, rolled up sleeves and collar up.. she's a true Burberry lass!
As I was dashing to join friends at one of my favourite brunch places in New York - Pastis, I couldnt help but do a tiny bit of style stalking outside... Loved these awesome flower power biker boots with studded leather trousers, teamed up with a classic styled coat.. Spot on !!
