2011 is coming to an end tonight and for this little StyleStalker it has been a fabulous fashion filled year. Since properly starting my blog 4 months ago, it's been amazing to be able to share what i always love and admire in fashion with you.
Here is my top fashion blogger moments from 2011...
Starting with, of course Fashion Week!! This year was one of my favourite LFW years, both were excellent especially Septembers. Some fabulous new designers came to my attention, Henrietta Ludgate for example and of course there were some excellent parties!! - Below are a couple of pics from the PPQ afterparty.
I had the pleasure of photographing on a few occasions some wonderful style savvy individuals, resulting in me producing a couple of my favourite street style posts. Darling Alice and Vale ... You little style stars!!
Another post I thoroughly enjoyed was with a dear friends of mine - post: Russia With Love, Emily always looks fabulous but I could never pin her down to photograph.. I finally got her!!
In October I took NYC by StyleStalking Storm! - It was the first time I had been to New York with my big camera in hand and on a StyleStalking mission - it was amazing how your eyes open to the city when you're actually looking!
Some of my favourite pics and moments...
What I have loved most about starting this blog is that I have been able to meet the most wondering designers and discover the most amazing boutiques... A couple I am referring to is Eva Perez the talented jewellery designer and fabulous boutique D&Me
Little achievements which I have to admit have made me a happy little Style Streetstalker!! My images being selected for Burberry's Art Of The Trench
The latest one is this one.. from my StyleStalking in New York..
As you all know a lot of my blog is based around StyleStalking within a certain HQ... this was one of my favourite pictures!! I want that leather trench!!
And so we come to the end of the year and I have one person I simply can not write this post without mentioning... my favourite fellow blogger Rose of The Londoner ... I simply adored our silliness under the Tiffany Tree a few weeks ago!
And so to 2012.. Many things to look forward to and I can garenttee.. if you liked the 2011 StyleStalker you'll love the 2012 !!!
Happy New Year and I hope you all have a wondering night tonight - please let me know what you get up to!!!

When I say Burberry Check, what is the first thing that comes to mind... exactly! Even though I am one of the biggest fans of this luxury brand, I am happy to admit I wouldn't normally get excited about a check bag, BUT this one I well and truely did a double take on! The gold spikes and studs add a completely new dimension to this classic bag and a young and very funky feel to it!

In November Ralph Lauren opened the doors of its first London concept store, 'Rugby', in the fashionable Covent Garden, right next door to the Burberry Brit Store.
Rugby is Ralph Laurens super cool, preppy heritage collection, that has been present in the US since 2004 but has only just been brought over the seas to our UK lands. Covent Garden is the flagship store for this line and similar to the Burberry Brit store, it only stocks 'Rudby', therefore, making this store completely unique to the other RL stores.
The building itself is beautiful, steps up to the entrance give the impression of it being set back slightly from the street and this also makes you feel like you are entering into one of Ralph's homes! Inside, it mirrors this feeling, with rooms dedicated to collections and concepts, for example there is a denim room with a beautiful fireplace, denim hangs from on high, drawing the customers eye up to the grand pictures that you would imagine to be hanging in his own home. In another room an old vintage bike hangs above a table adorned with knitwear and cross merchandised with bags, and scarves.
Very Naughty I know but I could not help but snap one of the guests wearing a cashmere Burberry scarf, perfect for this winter weather!
Overall the store is fun and playful, its oozes the feeling of authentic American prep style, that we all love! The event itself was excellent, I thoroughly got into the Christmas spirit with carol singer dressed head to toe in Rugby, mulled wine, mince pies and one too many mini beef burgers!

A couple of weeks ago, Rose (the super cool blogger of The Londoner) and I, decided to step 'the Christmas feeling' up a gear and go skating at the beautiful Somerset House Tiffany Ice Rink.
Rose looking as gorgeous as usual, wore Diesel Jeans, Zara jacket, and a to-die-for Prada bag. I wore my fav Burberry Prorsum jacket, J Brands, Burberry scarf and Anya Hindmarch bag - of course we were by far the most stylish on the ice!
After posing, I mean skating are a little hearts out, we warmed up in Fernandez & Wells with yummy hot chocolates, serious Tuesday night perfection!!!

I am totally obsessed with these Burberry aviator boots, shearling lined and super high, from AW10!
I was unbelievably jealous of Nicola's, as they sold out in seconds when they came into the store and of course I missed them, but couldn't believe my luck when I was able to grab a pair at the recent sample sale! I haven't actually been able to take them off since I got them!!!
15 December 2011
I think you can all probably guess, I have a bit of an obsession with anything studded or spikey… lucky for me so does Burberry! How amazing is this bag, it was from the AW11 ‘Winter Storms’ collection, the first one produced was amazingly heavy so it was adapted to the perfect weight! Love love love it!!

There is something about shearling that turns me into an excited child, especially these two Burberry Beauties!
The top shearling is amazing and a very unique archived sample, the second I fell in love with (and seethed with jealousy) as a colleague entered the office wearing it.. She better keep a very close eye on that little sheepy as I'm doing my best to convince it, the grass is greener on the other side !!!

These boots are the epitome of 'crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside!' in the way that they have a biker chick cool exterior with a deliciously warm and fluffy interior! I absolutely adore them and am still kicking myself for not snapping up a pair while they were in the stores! No surprises they sold out very quickly!!
12 December 2011
I am obsessed with flairs at the moment, especially the corded variety, perfect for chilly winter days! These I picked up from J Brand while in NYC, I'm totally in love with them.
As for the hat! I never normally wear them, but this AW I can't get enough - I bought this simply black one for Ascot in the summer and then adorned it with huge coloured pheasant feathers and ribbon from VV Rouleaux, they adored it in the Royal Enclosure! I plan customize this again, with pheasant feathers for everyday wear - I will blog the results after!
Of course I couldn't finish this outfit off with anything but my short classic Burberry trench, seriously I could not live without my trench (s) !!!

For the past five years Burberry has been growing from strength to strength and in my opinion is one of the most exciting and innovative brands of the moment.
As you may have noticed I feature a lot about Burberry, this is not because I have an unhealthy obsession with the brand, it is because I work for them. This week I will be taking a minute from each day to blog about this fascinating company. I will show you what we wear, what we are obsessing over at the moment, and why we love this British fashion brand so much!!

Maybe because I've been brought up in a rather temperamental climate but I always say that chilly winter afternoons are the most fun when it comes to personal styling! So chuck on that beautiful winter coat, cashmere jumper, fur hat and you're totally set for an afternoon of Christmas shopping... or just shopping !!
I love E's style, she always looks super cool and super beautiful. Today, she could easily have been a Russian spy, dressed in a military coat, cashmere Burberry jumper, McQueen scarf and vintage fur hat, she certainly had Chelsea style heads turning!
