As you all know I don’t normally blog about food, even though my two favourite things in life are food and fashion, so spending the weekend in NYC doing just that- I was in Heaven!
Of course the main reason I was there was for Halloween, I mean what better place to spend this occasion but in the country that created it! With skeletons and cobwebs hanging from every street corner I wandered through the city and came across these little gems of restaurants… the first being Amy’s Bread, their coffee and white chocolate & sour cherry cookies are to die for! Also a visit to Sushi Samba is a must do, have the Sea Bass and Miso Anticuchos, melts in the mouth and almost impossible not to order another!! – Then the Crispy Taquitos stuffed with yellowtail tuna with lemongrass, avocado, aji panca miso, and Maine Lobster, friseee, palmito, with jalapeno dressing.. amazing!
Another place I really had to mention is The Kingswood in West Village, OMG! We had brunch there after an extremely boozey Halloween party the night before, I had the burger with a white truffle mayonnaise.. wow!!
NYC fashion to follow....
All that food looks so good!
